Refund & Return Policy

At Vernazza Home, we take pride in the quality of every iron door we sell. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

All Sales Are Final on Custom & Special Order Doors

Custom and special order iron doors are built specifically to your specifications and cannot be returned or refunded once production has begun. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order to initiate fabrication. Please verify all measurements, configurations, and specifications carefully before placing a custom order. We are happy to assist you through this process.

In-Stock Door Returns

In-stock doors may be returned within 7 days of delivery or pickup under the following conditions:

The door is in its original, uninstalled condition
The door has not been modified, cut, or altered in any way
All original packaging, hardware, and accessories are included
You contact us before returning — we must approve the return in advance

Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, which for freight items can be substantial. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your door arrives damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly — whether that means a replacement part, repair, or replacement door.

Minor paint chips or scuffs that occur during shipping are normal for iron doors and are not considered damage. Touch-up paint is included with every door for this purpose.

Cancellations

In-stock orders cancelled before shipment will receive a full refund. Custom and special order cancellations are subject to the deposit terms agreed upon at the time of order — deposits are non-refundable once production has begun.

Unauthorized returns (items sent back without prior approval) will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.

Warranty

All iron doors are covered by our 5-Year Limited Warranty on defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty claims are handled separately from this return policy.
